Robert Kolanek (Bob)

June 23, 1952 - November 5, 2020

Long time Downey resident passed away on November 5, 2020. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Tonamarie. and four children Kathy, Donovan, Erin and Nikki. He was blessed with four grandchildren Ryan, Cristian, Rokkett , and Emma Sage. Bob worked for United Towing Services for 40 years that was located in Downey. He loved to drive he collected and restored many vehicles in his time he especially loved classic cars. He was always quick to help others fix their cars. Bob could fix almost anything, we would joke that he was the jack of all trades but master of none. He battled brain cancer for 18 months. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
