Rio Hondo named 'Best Overall Golf Course' by golf magazine

 DOWNEY -- The Rio Hondo Golf Club has been recognized by Southland Golf Magazine readers as the “Best Overall Golf Course” in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties for 2015.

The Rio Hondo Golf Club was rated by golfers for best course in the Ventura/L.A. County area. In this elite group of both public and private golf courses, the Rio Hondo Golf Club was compared with other notable courses including Trump National Golf Club in Ranchos Palos Verdes, Bel-Air Country Club, and Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, among others.

Rio Hondo Golf Club also received recognition in the following categories:
No. 1 – Best Value
No. 2 – Best 18th Hole
No. 2 – Best 19th Hole (restaurant’s/café’s) - Hacker’s Restaurant
No. 3 – Best Scenic View
