Richard Olsen dies unexpectedly

DOWNEY - Richard Duane "Richie" Olsen, formerly of Downey, died unexpectedly Jan. 24 at the Milwaukee Hospital for Veterans in Milwaukee. He was 65.Friends are invited to meet with Olsen's family at First Lutheran Church in Gladstone, MI today from 2 to 4:45 p.m. Military rites conducted by the Gladstone American Legion Post #71 will follow in the Narthex of the church. A memorial service led by Rev. Jonathan Schmidt will be held in the church's sanctuary at 5 p.m., and will be followed by a luncheon.
