Residents invited to swap books at Furman Park

DOWNEY — Residents are invited to participate in a “book drop or swap” at Furman Park on Saturday, July 31. 

Between 8 am and 7 pm, residents are encouraged to drop off and/or trade books of all genres, including books for kids and young adults, fiction, nonfiction, self-help, cookbooks, magazines, textbooks and comic books. 

Leftover books will be donated to local micro libraries and the Library Foundation of Los Angeles.
