Residents asked to complete survey

DOWNEY – Downey residents are being asked to complete an online survey to guide the city’s management and development of local parks, recreation facilities and programs. The online survey is at surveymonkey.com/DowneyParks and takes about five minutes to complete. The link will remain active until Tuesday.

Two community workshops are also scheduled. The first, focused on sports and athletics, is Wednesday, Jan. 21, from 6:30-9 p.m. at the Barbara Riley Center.

The second workshop, focused on prioritizing recreational needs with results of previous meetings and a telephone survey, is Feb. 28 from 9:30 a.m. to noon at Golden Park.
