'Rent' opening in La Mirada
LA MIRADA -- "Rent," the inspiring musical about friends and artists struggling with addiction, poverty, AIDS and most of all, love, will be performed at the La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts beginning later this month.
Set in the East Village of New York City, "Rent" is about falling in love, finding your voice and living for today. How these young bohemians negotiate their dreams, loves, and conflicts provides the narrative thread to the musical.

"Rent" will preview on Friday, Oct. 23 and run through Sunday, Nov. 15.
