Remembrance service Saturday for Larry Lockhart

DOWNEY – Downey resident Laurence “Larry” Dean Lockhart died peacefully Feb. 11 with his wife at his side. He was born Feb. 25, 1952 in Teaneck, NJ to Louis Vernon Lockhart and Mildred Frances Morell Lockhart.

He is survived by his wife, Vicki Linn Lockhart; children, Laurie Lockhart, Kena Lockhart Adams, Larz Dylan Lockhart and James Dean Lockhart; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Sharon Herkes Lockhart (John Herkes), William Allen Lockhart, Denise Lockhart Bush and (William Gordon Bush); brother-in-law Mike Williams (Denise Williams); and nieces and nephews Lori, Derek, Nate, Kara, Alycia, James and Dane.

He was predeceased by his father, Louis Vernon Lockhart; mother, Mildren Frances Morell; father-in-law, Jim Williams; and brother-in-law, Jamie Williams.

A remembrance service will be held Feb. 21 at 11 a.m. at Miller Mies Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Kaiser Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
