Registration opens for 13th annual TLC 5K Run/Walk

DOWNEY – Registration is now open for the 13th annual TLC 5K Run/Walk, scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22, at Apollo Park. The event supports the TLC Family Resource Center, which provides vital services to Downey Unified School District (DUSD) students and their families.

The TLC Family Resource Center offers free assistance for health challenges, child abuse concerns, family instability, mental health support, critical life needs, and parenting skills, helping to ensure a stronger community for all.

Early bird registration is available through Jan. 31, with fees set at $20 for DUSD students and $30 for the general public. Early registrants will receive a commemorative T-shirt. Starting Feb. 1, registration increases by $5 and T-shirts will no longer be included.

Those interested in participating can register online at web.dusd.net/tlc. Sponsorship opportunities are also available, ranging from $100 to $2,000.
