Police make 2 arrests in connection with Buffalo Wild Wings brawl
DOWNEY -- Two people have been arrested for their roles in a wild brawl outside Buffalo Wild Wings last September, a fight that was captured on video and went viral on social media.
Gabriel Fuerte, a 43-year-old resident of South Gate, and Josue Garcia, a 42-year-old Bell resident, surrendered to Downey Superior Court on March 8, Downey Police officials said today. Their next court appearance is Thursday.
Police say that Fuerte and Garcia were involved in a brawl outside the Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant at Stonewood Center on Sept. 20. A bystander recorded portions of the fight and posted the clip on Facebook.
Downey Police said they identified Fuerte and Garcia after "an intensive investigation." Both men were charged with assault.
