Police collecting unwanted prescription drugs

DOWNEY — Residents can dispose of expired and/or unwanted prescription medication at a collection event Saturday, April 30, from 10 am to 2 pm at the Downey Police Department.

Over-the-counter medication can also be dropped off. Sharps and needles, however, will not be accepted.
