Picnic at local church

DOWNEY - Immanuel Armenian Church will hold a Memorial Day picnic May 31 from 11 a.m. to dusk.There will be homemade Armenian pastries, shish kebab dinners, a bake sale, raffles and games. The church is at 9516 Downey Ave. For more information, call (562) 862-7012.
