Patricia Grissom dies unexpectedly

DOWNEY -- The family of Patricia Diane Grissom is saddened to announce her passing on Sunday, May 29.

Born in Lynwood on July 16, 1970, Patty was the youngest of 10 children, and was later a longtime Downey resident.

Patty is survived by her three daughters, Paulina Garcia (26), Sierra Garcia (17), and Jessica Gutierrez (6); her mother, Lenore, as well as her husband Daniel Gutierrez, and her remaining siblings, Jeff, Michael, Steven, Ronnie, Larry, Robert, and sister Karen, in addition to her many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her father Lawrence Fletcher Grissom, and brothers Jim and Curtis.

Services will be held Monday, June 6, at Forest Lawn - Cypress. Viewing will begin at 9:30 am, and graveside services will begin at 12:30 pm.

All family and friends are welcome to attend, and information for the reception will be given at the ceremony.
