Parks & Rec hiring part-time workers

DOWNEY – The City of Downey’s Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a recruitment expo Saturday at Barbara J. Riley Community & Senior Center as it looks to hire part-time workers.

Positions are available in multiple programs, including aquatics, facilities, office/front counter, camps and youth programs.

Candidates ages 16 and older will have the opportunity to meet with Parks and Recreation and human resources professionals, access to computers to submit an application, and participate in interviews if time allows.

The expo is from 10 am to 4:30 pm for pre-registered applicants and 1-3:30 pm for walk-ins.
