Parents invited to meet tutors

DOWNEY - Parents of local middle school students are invited to meet tutors approved by the Downey Unified School District during a "provider fair" tomorrow at Sussman Middle School.Parents will have the opportunity to meet tutors and ask questions about free tutoring services available. The information will help parents select a tutor for their child. Free after-school tutoring is available for middle school students who receive free or reduced-price meals at school. The provider fair is from 9 a.m. to noon inside the Sussman Middle School cafeteria.
