Oldies cover group Under the Streetlamp coming to Cerritos

CERRITOS -- Under the Streetlamp, a pop group performing the biggest hits of the '50s, '60s and '70s, will perform at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts on Jan. 22.

Under the Streetlamp performs everything from Doo-Wop ditties, Motown melodies, old-time rock and roll, and the favorite songs of The Drifters, the Beach Boys, the Beatles and the Four Seasons. 

The group's original members met onstage as the lead characters in "Jersey Boys." The group has appeared on Broadway, in feature films, and on television, including "The Oprah Winfrey Show." The ensemble aired its first PBS special in 2011 and the second in 2014. 

The current lineup consists of Michael Ingersoll, Christopher Kale Jones, Brandon Wardell, and Shonn Wiley.
