OC Fair announces first concert of 2017 season
The OC Fair made its first show announcement for its 2017 season with a night of country by The Band Perry with special guest Alice Wallace on Aug. 2.
The OC Fair also announced a Pink Floyd tribute show for July 15.
The Band Perry, composed of siblings Kimberly Perry (lead vocals, guitar, piano), Reid Perry (bass guitar, background vocals) and Neil Perry (mandolin, drums, accordion, background vocals), released their self-titled debut album in 2010.
From this album, “If I Die Young” reached number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs and Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks charts and has been certified quadruple platinum.
Their second album, “Pioneer,” was released in 2013 and produced two more number one singles, “Better Dig Two” and “Done,” plus the top 10 hits “Don’t Let Me Be Lonely” and “Chainsaw.”
Tickets for both concerts go on sale Dec. 3 via Ticketmaster or the OC Fair box office.
Tickets to see The Band Perry and Alice Wallace start at $47.50, while tickets for the Pink Floyd tribute show are $17.50. Tickets include admission to the fair.
