Nursery school marking 50 years

DOWNEY – Downey United Methodist Church Nursery School will celebrate its 50th anniversary with an open house Sunday, May 3. All former teachers, families and alumni are invited to the celebration.

Church services officiated by Pastor Jon Waterson begin at 10:30 a.m. All classrooms will be open for viewing from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The open house theme is “A Day of Fun in the Sun at the Beach.” Preschoolers’ artwork will be on display.
