Nurse chosen as expert witness

DOWNEY - Ofelia Rodil, director of nursing at Downey Care Center, has been chosen to serve as an expert witness for the Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians, one of only 10 nurses in California to serve such a role.The board's highest priority is in exercising its licensing regulatory and disciplinary functions. "We wholeheartedly congratulate Ofelia, given her expertise and outstanding qualities in the nursing field, that she was chosen," said Jen Hone, E.D. Rodil said she was "humbled and proud to serve and represent my peers."
