No to Feinstein
Dear Editor:I could not agree more with the letter from Hugh T. Hoskins ("Political Favors," Letters to the Editor, 3/24/11). Did it ever occur to the mayor that naming a street after a surviving political figure may not set well with all Downeyites? After all, there is considerable difference of opinions regarding politicians and their agendas. And in this part of our city, the names considered should be those from the aerospace industry. I agree with Mr. Hoskins that the names considered should be Gerald Vultee or Lee Atwood. Actually, anyone but a politician. -- Bonnie West, Downey
