No defense

Dear Editor:Edy Grayson did not defend the picture. (Letters to the Editor, 11/13/09) It was simply a diversionary tactic. After reading the letter to the editor I wanted to hold hands with my neighbors and sing Kumbaya. "Hands to put in his pockets," indeed. Whether you like or dislike President Obama, you should still show the respect that his office deserves. Mr. Obama was neat as a pin and had that great smile on his face. On the other hand, the young man looked like he slapped his clothes on and was "hanging with his homie." - Kenneth Stallcup, Downey
