New beauty salon is opening

DOWNEY - Paradise Garden Beauty Spa at 11019 Myrtle St., Suite 101, will celebrate its grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony Thursday at 4:30 p.m.The spa is owned and operated by Carmen Castro, who has 18 years experience as a hair stylist. Paradise Gardens offers hair styling for men and women, manicures and pedicures, make-up for all occasions, facials and more. The public is invited to the ribbon cutting. The Downey Chamber of Commerce is assisting with the event.
