2 people killed, 1 wounded in Norwalk shooting
NORWALK — A man was killed and a man and woman were wounded in a Norwalk shooting, authorities said Monday.
The shooting was reported at 8:39 p.m. Sunday in the 12700 block of Pioneer Boulevard, south of Imperial Highway and north of Firestone Boulevard, according to the Sheriff's Information Bureau.
Deputies responding to a report of gunshots found one man inside a vehicle suffering from multiple bullet wounds, sheriff's officials said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The deputies found a man and woman in the area who had been shot and they were taken by paramedics to hospitals where they were in critical condition, the officials said.
Sheriff's homicide detectives were summoned to the scene to search for evidence and witnesses, officials said.
Information about a suspect and motive were not immediately available.
