Luau-themed mixer at local bar

DOWNEY - George's Restaurant and Bar will host the Downey Chamber of Commerce's second annual luau mixer Sept. 16 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.Visitors are encouraged to dress in Hawaiian attire as they network with members of the local business community. The restaurant is at 7857 Florence Ave., west of Paramount Boulevard.
