Louise Niewiarowski
August 16, 1923 - September 3, 2023
On September 3, 2023 Our Heavenly Father called Louise Niewiarowski, our dear mother, grandmother, great grandmother, auntie and dear friend, home to eternal life. Surrounded by family in prayer and song, Louise took her last breath peacefully, leaving a 100 year legacy behind. The eldest of six children, she was born in Lwow, Poland on August 16, 1923, to parents Joseph and Josephine Jablonski, immigrated to Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada at the age of 3. At age 26 married Mitchell Niewiarowski at Holy Ghost Catholic Church. Ten years later they moved to South Gate, California with their three children Jim, Christine and Susan. Working for the telephone company, Louise juggled her schedule to always be home with their children. Very active at St. Helen’s parish and later at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Downey, she was an active member of The Legion of Mary, OLPH Choir, Catholic Women’s Guild, Rosary Prayer Group, and most recently the religious home book club. All who knew Louise will miss her sweet smile and her most positive and gentle manner. Proceeded to heaven by her husband Mitchell in 1977, she leaves 3 sisters Frances, Jean and Joan. She will be missed by her 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren from the Niewiarowski, Pohlen, Schrader, Spittell, Crothers, Petropulos, Conway, and Picarelli Families. Rosary and Funeral Service were held on September 14th and 15th at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Downey, California. Graveside burial was held at Calvary Cemetery on September 16th 2023.
