Letter to the Editor: Switch to electric? No thanks

Dear Editor:

California and its governor want all Californians to buy electric cars so as to lower carbon monoxide, but during a flex alert the California Independent System Operator and Southern California Edison want us to use less electricity and not to charge our electric cars.

Right, that makes sense to them, but not to me.
