Letter to the Editor: Street art and trash cans

Dear Editor:

Does anyone know the history of the Norm's restaurant kitty?

There is a cat painted on a wall in the parking lot where they put trash. Was wondering who painted it an when. I like it. I wish it could be refreshed.

On another note, why are our new black trash cans so small? Our old grey can, despite being in service many years, was in excellent shape. I don't understand why it had to be changed out.

New ones are much lighter an seem very flimsy. The cost involved seems very unnecessary.
