Letter to the Editor: Praise for Lorine Parks

Dear Editor:

I have enjoyed Lorine Parks writing in the Hub Bub, Downey Rotary weekly newsletter, and in Rotary District 5280 monthly newsletter. 

Additionally, I am privileged to read her curated Poetry Matters column and society columns in The Downey Patriot. If a good example of Lorine's writing is needed, her obituary about our fellow Rotarian Harold Tseklenis would suffice.

Good writers can recognize good writing very well. I am not surprised that Lorine has been selected as a judge by Spitball Magazine. They will certainly benefit from her writing talents.
