Letter to the Editor: No on Measure S

Dear Editor:

I just cast my ballot and voted NO on Measure S.

The city of Downey has let the infrastructure go to crap, services to deteriorate, and water rates to go through the roof. And they now want us to bail the city out while sitting on tens of millions in reserve for the current budget.

They have proven to me that this is throwing good money after bad, and we will be stuck with this blatant cash grab for the next 20 years.

I voted NO on S, and urge others to vote no as well.
