Letter to the Editor: Medicare Advantage

Dear Editor:  

Like more than 2 million Californians, my husband and I are on Medicare Advantage. It is a fantastic healthcare program that we want to preserve.

Many doctors will only accept Medicare Advantage, and continuity in doctors and specialists is especially important for seniors. Despite the great coverage it gives us, policymakers in Washington, D.C. want to cut its funding. That’s simply not good enough and we need our elected officials like Senator Kamala Harris to stand up for senior citizens and take our fight to D.C.

The federal budget cannot be balanced on the backs of seniors.
