Letter to the Editor: Inadequate trashcans

Dear Editor:

After being forced to use the new trash collection containers which are inadequate for the amount of rubbish that they can hold, I have found that the trash is now accumulating at the bottom of the barrels because the bins are way to small to allow the trash to fall into the trucks at collection.

And we are now paying extra for this crappy service. 

I say the city should hold CalMet responsible to the citizens' service needs, or remove them from the city and negotiate a contract with a company that will.
