Letter to the Editor: How to fix our elections

Dear Editor:

1.  Voter I.D. must be required in all states. Period.

2.  Mail-In-ballots must be utilized by only those elderly, disabled, or out-of-towners who request an absentee ballot.  Ballots when returned must have matching signatures and addresses to those registered or with DMV. Period.

3.  All ballots - in-person and mail-in, must be turned in no later than closing time on election day. Period.

4.  Tabulation of all ballots must take place on the day of election. Period.

5.  Observers from all parties must have the opportunity to view the processing of all votes. Period.

6.  Paper ballots have served our country well for many years, and for many years we have known the election results on the same day as the day of election. To avoid possibilities of software malfunction, we must not allow these machines to be used in the future. Because of the failure of these machines, they are banned in many states and countries. The United States must ban these machines. Period.

Yes, for our Republic to continue to exist, it is vitally essential that we have a fair election without suspicion of fraud.
