Letter to the Editor: Gratitude to PIH Health Downey

Dear Editor: 

I wish to extend a heartfelt "thank you" to all the staff at PIH Downey. 

During a recent hospital stay and subsequent surgery, I received quality care and consultations from Dr. M. Minkes, Dr. R. Deere, Dr. B. Kim and Dr. M. Nguyen. 

The nursing staff went above and beyond in their duties. Not only did they efficiently care for medical needs, they genuinely cared for me. From the nurses, CNAs, to nursing students, I received nothing but courtesy, kindness and respect. 

My hospital stay extended longer than any of us expected. However, the staff continued to share comfort and encouragement and to rejoice with me at the resolution of the medical issues. 

Thank you to all, you are my angels. May God richly bless you for your care and compassion.
