Letter to the Editor: Grateful for free meal

Dear Editor: 

On behalf of over 1,000 veterans being honored with a dinner from the Golden Corral restaurant in Bellflower, we would like to say our humble, sincere "Thank You" to the chain, management and service personnel. 

Manager Xavier Saenz personally walked and talked the line to speak with all veterans and military with such genuine sincerity of seeing them. 

This must have cost them over $10,000 locally, and maybe millions nationwide, a tremendous amount of money and effort, all for a noble cause of honoring America's veterans and military personnel. 

Other restaurants that also gave were Applebee's, Hometown Buffet, Olive Garden, Sizzler, Denny's and Weinerschnitzel.
