Letter to the Editor: Downey rejects dirty politics

Dear Editor: 

Downey has spoken. Dirty and deceptive politics have no place here.

Frine Medrano and Alma Marquez ran very dirty campaigns, right down to trying to influence voters at their polling places. Both published flat out lies about their opponents without a care of who they may hurt.

Downey is above that and saw right through it.

Congratulations to the City of Downey, with Alex Saab, Rick Rodriguez and Blanca Pacheco on the City Council, we are all in great hands.
