Letter to the Editor: Beware of mosquitoes

Dear Editor:

I want to help people get rid of mosquitoes. Mosquitoes spread sicknesses that can kill you, like malaria, yellow fever, and West Nile virus. If you are in Los Angeles, be careful because the West Nile virus has been spotted there. 

I learned in school that you need to get rid of all standing water. If you have a bird bath, replace the water every week. Use mosquito repellent when you go outside to keep mosquitoes away when you play.

I hope mosquitoes disappear so we can have a better life.
