Lethal force on pets

Dear Editor: Save our pets from the cruel and barbaric use of lethal force by law enforcement.

Our taxes pay their salaries, and we are sick and tired of them killing our pets. Enough is enough.

Common sense is a good thing to have when you are in law enforcement. Officers need to have sound judgement; shooting our pets is not a good idea.

No police officer has ever lost his life in the line of duty from a dog attack, yet every 48 to 56 minutes in the United States of America, law enforcement uses lethal force on our pets.

I want the use of lethal force banned on our pets forever.
