Leroy W. Pabst

Leroy was a Lutheran school teacher for 40 years and a church organist and choir director for 51 years, serving His Lord in Missouri, Indiana and California. He spent 36 years in those capacities at Good Shepherd Luthern Church & School of Downey; he retired from teaching in 2004 and from his music responsibilities in 2016.

Leroy is survived by his wife, Mary; their two children and spouses David and Kimberly Pabst, and Susan and Mark Jennings, and four grandchildren. Also surviving are Leroy’s brother and sister-in-law Jerry and Derene Pabst, sister-in-law Maxine Pabst, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Leroy was preceded in death by his parents, George and Ruby Pabst, his brother Gene, and infant sister Georgia Mae.
