Kolar YMCA nears critical funding deadline

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

We stand at a pivotal moment in our community’s history. The new Kolar Family YMCA project, which will serve generations of families, children, and neighbors, is within reach of becoming reality very soon. Through the incredible generosity of our community, we have made remarkable progress toward our goal. However, we now face a critical juncture that requires immediate action.

We have secured a transformative funding opportunity that could generate an additional $5 million in support for our new YMCA facility. This development would significantly enhance our ability to create a state-of-the-art community center that serves everyone in our area. However, this opportunity comes with a strict deadline: we must close our remaining $1.5 million funding gap by the end of January 2025.

Every dollar contributed now has the potential to be multiplied through this special funding opportunity. Your support will directly contribute to creating a modern, accessible community center, expanding youth programs and services, providing enhanced health and wellness facilities, and ensuring our YMCA can serve all members of our community, regardless of their ability to pay.

A Call to Action

We need your help to seize this moment. Whether through a personal contribution, connecting us with potential supporters, or sharing our story with others, every action brings us closer to our goal. This is more than building a facility – it’s about creating a legacy that will serve our community for generations to come. The window to secure this transformative funding closes on January 31st, 2025. The Kolar Family YMCA has always been the heart of our community, and now we have the chance to create something extraordinary for generations to come. Your support today will help us seize this historic opportunity and shape our community’s tomorrow.
