Kiwanis golf tourney Sept. 28

DOWNEY - The 12th annual Downey Los Amigos Kiwanis Club Golf Tournament will take place Sept. 28 at the Candlewood Country Club in Whittier.Entry fee is $165 per person and includes green fees, golf carts, barbecue lunch and dinner. Additional dinners are $35 each. A foursome with a tee sign is $700, and a Golden Tee sponsorship, which includes a foursome, special tee sign and dinner recognition, is $1,000. The tournament begins with a shotgun start at noon. Dinner and awards begin at 5:30 p.m. Proceeds from the event will benefit the philanthropic endeavors of Downey Los Amigos Kiwanis Club.
