Kirkwood wins federal award

DOWNEY - Kirkwood Christian Schools has been named a State Champion school, an award given on behalf of the president of the United States for having the highest percent of students qualifying for an Active Lifestyle awards for its school size.Each student that received an Active Lifestyle award also received a State Champion certificate and badge.
