Kathleen Radabaugh

January 1, 1927 - December 2, 2019

Kathleen Radabaugh, 92 of Downey, CA passed away peacefully in her sleep from chronic heart failure on December 2, 2019. Just 30 days shy of her 93rd birthday.
She was born in Canada on January 1, 1927 to Norwegian parents Birget and Andrew Raaen. Her early years were spent on the Prairie Provinces in Canada on a farm.
She worked as a long distance telephone operator in Winnipeg, Manitoba and Edmonton, Alberta. She came to the United States in 1955, where she met and married Chester L. (Chet) Radabaugh and had her daughter Kimberly Anne. She was predeceased by her husband, Chet in 1962. She lived in La Mirada for 20 years then moved to Downey with her longtime companion William ‘Ernie’ Croft. She and Ernie traveled the U.S., Canada and Alaska extensively in their trailer for months at a time until he passed in 1993.
Her passions were travelling the world, cruising, the theater, needlework and being the Avon Lady for over 30 years.
She was predeceased by her parents, brothers Andy and Trygve and sister Anne.
She is survived by her beloved daughter Kim Salsbury (David) and nieces and nephews of Canada.
