Veteran actress and Downey resident Julie Simpson will return to the Downey Civic Light Opera for the second time when she stars as Sue Smith in "No, No Nanette," opening Sept. 30 at the Downey Theatre. The veteran actress has performed throughout the country and was seen here last season in "Rogers and Hart - A Celebration." For tickets and information, call (562) 923-1714.
