Jose Feliciano, singer behind 'Feliz Navidad," playing Downey Theatre

DOWNEY – Nine-time Grammy Award winner Jose Feliciano will perform his hits – including the popular Christmas song “Feliz Navidad” – at the Downey Theatre on Dec. 13.

The concert begins at 7:30 pm. Tickets are on sale now at the Downey Theatre box office and online at downeytheatre.org.

Recognized as the first Latin artist to effectively cross over in the English music market, Feliciano has opened doors for other Latin artists who now play an important role in the American music industry.

He's been awarded over 45 gold and platinum records, 19 Grammy nominations, nine Grammy Awards, and the "LARAS Award for Lifetime Achievement," all while being blind since birth.

He is perhaps best known for the hit "Feliz Navidad," one of the most played Christmas songs in the United States.
