In-N-Out submits plans for second location in Downey

DOWNEY — In-N-Out has submitted plans to open a second restaurant in Downey.

Mayor Claudia M. Frometa confirmed the news in her monthly Mayor’s Corner for the Downey Patriot.

The second location, if approved, will be built at 9454 Imperial Hwy. The site sits on the corner of Imperial and Bellflower Boulevard and has been vacant for several years.

Meanwhile, Raising Canes also submitted plans for a second restaurant, this one at 9000 Telegraph Rd.

Located at the intersection of Telegraph and Lakewood Boulevard, the property currently operates as a Mobil gas station.
