Razorbacks hosting 'Back to Football Night' tonight

DOWNEY -- Downey Youth Football, also known as the Razorbacks, will hold their first registration of the 2016 season at its "Back to Football Night" tonight at 7 p.m. at the Rio Hondo Event Center. 

The youth league offers flag football, tackle football and cheerleading to boys and girls ages 5-14. All equipment is provided on loan to kids. 

Registration includes trophy, league picture package, yearbook and game socks. Payments plans are available, along with raffle tickets to offset the cost of registration. No player is turned away due to cost. 

Practices start Aug. 1 at Rio San Gabriel Park. The first home game is Sept. 10, with home games played at Downey and Warren high schools.
