Hospital service

Dear Editor: Recently, I had surgery at Downey Community Hospital (now PIH). I realize that the doctors get most of the kudos for the job that they perform – which they do deserve – but sometimes I feel that it is important to recognize others involved.

I was assigned to the second floor outpatient surgery, and Anna was my nurse. Her professionalism and caring was probably routine to her, but to me, it exceeded the ordinary.

She made my stay most comfortable, and for that I want to say thank you.
