Hill finishes Army training

DOWNEY - Army Pvt. Jesse Hill has completed basic infantry training at Fort Benning in Columbus, Ga.Hill underwent nine weeks of training in drill and ceremonies, weapons, map reading, tactics, military courtesy, military justice, physical fitness, first aid, and Army history, core values and traditions. He received additional training in the development of basic combat skills and battlefield operations and tactics. Hill also gained experience using various weapons and weapon defenses available to infantry crewman. He is the son of Cary Hill, of Huntington Beach. He graduated from Calvary Chapel Downey in 2011.
