Hilarie J. Schaffner

October 21, 1948 - January 4, 2017

Hilarie J. Schaffner passed away on Jan. 4th, 2017 with her family by her side. She was born in Los Angeles to Herman and Frances Cahn and grew up in Downey, graduating from Warren High in 1966. She married Dennis Schaffner in 1973 and later moved to Stockton, Ca where she worked as a receptionist for Dr. George Schilling for almost 30 yrs. Hilarie is survived by her husband Dennis, son Jeff Schaffner (Irma), daughter Cindy Lee (Brian), grandchildren Jenelle, Amanda, Peter and Alex, sister Phyllis Bell, nephew Brian Cahn, niece Jamie Bell and their families. Hilarie will be remembered for her generosity and thoughtfulness and quirky sense of humor. A celebration of her life will be held in Stockton on Feb. 10th.
