Havana Cuba All-Stars set to play Downey Theatre

DOWNEY — The Havana Cuba All-Stars, a collection of Cuba’s greatest musicians, will perform at the Downey Theatre on Wednesday, April 10.

Tickets for the 8 p.m. start at $40 and are now on sale.

The All-Stars travel the country promoting the entire tapestry of Cuban music through a fresh, contemporary lens.

The group is backed by three of Cuba’s “finest dancing couples” that work in tandem with the musicians for a spirited spectacle of song and dance.

The children’s dance group Comparsa will open the show.

Tickets are $40 for balcony seats and $50 orchestra; Downey residents can purchase tickets at half-price by using the code “allstars.” Customers must have a valid Downey zip code to qualify for the discount.
