Gloria Davila

July 14, 1929 - March 11, 2016

On March 11, 2016, the former First Lady of Downey (1985-1986), Gloria Davila passed away peacefully to be with our Lord. Gloria was born on July 14, 1929 in the greater Los Angeles area and resided in the City of Downey for the past 51 years. Gloria was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and aunt. She is survived by her husband of 67 ½ years, former Mayor Bob Davila, daughter, Cynthia Alexander, two granddaughters, Shanna Alexander Campbell and Lauren Alexander and long awaited great grandson, James Michael Campbell. Gloria lived a full life along side her husband and will be missed by all her surviving family members and friends.

A Rosary will be held at Miller Mies Downey Mortuary at 7 p.m. on March 28, 2016. The Funeral Services will be held on March 29, 2016 at Saint Raymond Catholic Church in Downey at 11:30 a.m.
